Over the past decades, the Azerbaijani community in Sweden has gradually become a visible and active part of the country’s social and professional life.
Azerbaijanis living in Sweden work successfully in fields such as medicine, engineering, education, information technology and entrepreneurship. Many members of the community work as teachers in public schools, specialists in social services and professionals in different public institutions.
Azerbaijani professionals are also involved in community initiatives and social projects that support dialogue and cooperation within Swedish society while strengthening connections with Azerbaijan.
Community organizations, including the Congress of Azerbaijanis of Sweden, also contribute to developing cooperation and social initiatives within the diaspora.
Many observers believe that in the coming years the Azerbaijani community may play an even greater role in the social and professional life of Sweden.
