Azerbaijanis of Sweden Congress
Mission:
The mission of the Azerbaijanis of Sweden Congress is to unite the Azerbaijani diaspora, strengthen its participation in the civic and cultural life of Sweden, and contribute to the development of constructive dialogue and cooperation between Sweden and Azerbaijan.
The Azerbaijanis of Sweden Congress is a non-governmental and non-profit umbrella organization representing Azerbaijani community associations across Sweden. The Congress serves as a platform for coordination, dialogue and representation of the Azerbaijani diaspora, working to strengthen cultural, social and civic ties between Azerbaijani and Swedish societies.
The organization promotes the active participation of Azerbaijani-Swedes in public life and supports the successful integration of younger generations into Swedish society while preserving cultural identity and community solidarity. Through community initiatives, public dialogue and cooperation with institutions, the Congress contributes to building stronger bridges between Sweden and Azerbaijan.
In the context of recent developments in the South Caucasus and the restoration of Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity, the Congress continues to promote balanced information, constructive dialogue and initiatives that support peace, stability and long-term development in the region.
As a diaspora platform, the Congress also works to strengthen cooperation between Azerbaijani communities abroad and to encourage greater engagement in cultural, educational and civic initiatives that connect Azerbaijan with the wider international community.
